Debra received her Bachelor of Arts in Dance in 2023 from San Francisco State University. Her dance experience began in 2008 with Ballet Folklórico Mexicano and continues to grow as she teaches. Driven by a passion to make art accessible to low-income Latino communities, she founded Florecer Dance Studios in 2024.

Dean earned a degree in Economics and English from the State University of New York at Albany. His dance experience began with Ballet Folklórico Mexicano in the third grade, and he started dancing with FDS from its founding in 2024. In 2025, Dean joined Debra as a co-owner of FDS to continue their contribution to the arts and their East Side San Jose community.

Mr. Dean received his bachelors degree in Economics and English from the State University of New York: University at Albany. He's been dancing folklorico since the 3rd grade, and began dancing at FDS since its founding in 2024.
